Columbus police are looking for a man who robbed a store at gunpoint early Sunday morning.

A man entered the BMC Super C on Buena Vista Road shortly after midnight armed with a handgun and stole a firearm from the clerk, Lt. Lynn Joiner said.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, standing about six feet tall with a medium build. He was clean-shaven and his hair was cut close to his scalp. He was wearing a multi-colored short sleeve shirt and gray pants. He had stud earrings in both of his ears and a wrist band on his right wrist.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Columbus police at 706-653-3400.
