Embrace unity, not division
Published on: 11/18/08I was born in 1940 in a small middle Georgia town. Since that time, I have lived through one world war, the Korean war, Vietnam war and the Cold war, to name a few. My great-grandfather fought for the Confederacy in the Civil War. My own military career began after the close of the Koran conflict and at the beginning of the Cold War and the Vietnam war. I joined the U.S. Army in 1957 and received my discharge in 1965.
