Riley to promote car pools

Alabama Gov. Bob Riley will join several commuters in the Birmingham area today to encourage people to use car pools to go to work.

Riley will ride in a CommuteSmart van. CommuteSmart is a program that helps workers participate to participate in car pools in order to save money and reduce traffic congestion.
